
Associate Professor on political sciences and author, Yalçın Akdoğan graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences Department of the Publication and Press. He received his master’s degree in communication and his PhD in political sciences. He wrote in various journals and newspapers and published books on political life. He served at the Directorate of Educational, Cultural and Social Affairs of Pendik Municipality, Press Counsellor for the Minister of State, AK (Justice and Development) Party Advisor to the Chairman and Counsellor to the Prime Minister. He gave lectures at TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) University of Economics and Technology and Bahçeşehir University School of Leadership. He took up the duties of the Deputy Prime Minister within the 62th, 63rd and 64th Governments. Deputy of Ankara for AK Party, Akdoğan also serves as the Chairman of Democracy and Arbitration Board of AK Party.
