Dr. Jamila Tilout is a researcher in Islamic studies and sociology. She is the Editor-in-Chief for the Contemporary Maqasid Studies Journal. Jamila Tilout is a Lecturer of Maqasid at the Institute of Mohammed VI, Al-Qaraouiyine University, Morocco. She has written the
following books: Moroccan Religiosity, Ethics and Purposes, Family in the Quran, The Theory of ‘The Revolving Provisions’ in Islamic Jurisprudence.
