Specialized in state-religion relations, transnational migration, refugees, and higher education policies, Talip Küçükcan is a Professor of Sociology at Marmara University. Küçükcan received his BA from Uludağ University Faculty of Theology, his MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and completed his PhD in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick. He worked as the Coordinator of Social and Economic Research (2007-2010) and Director of Foreign Policy Research (2010-2013) at SETA Foundation. He was also the former Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims (2014 –2015).
