Oleg Karpovich graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Law of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is the author of more than 450 scientific papers on various topics of political science, international relations, conflictology, international law, criminal law in Russia and foreign countries. A number of his monographs have been published in the US, Germany and France.
He worked in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation (Main State Legal Department). By order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 22, 2022 №984-r, he was included in the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
Member of the Dissertation Council at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. He is a member of the Expert Council under the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, an expert of the Russian Society of Political Scientists and the Russian Council on International Affairs. Full member of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Legal Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Laureate of several scientific awards.
