The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Istanbul Commerce University, Prof. Mustafa Said Yazıcıoğlu’s field of study mainly focuses on Islamic thought. He graduated from the Theology Department of Ankara University. He received his PhD at Paris IV-Sorbonne University. He worked as a faculty member, head of the department and dean at Ankara University’s Faculty of Theology. He served as the Director of Religious Affairs. He was selected as the Deputy of Ankara for the 22nd and 23rd parliamentary terms. He served as a Minister of State for the 60th Government. With his study titled İnsan Hürriyeti Kavramı (The Concept of Human Freedom) he earned the Research Award by the Writers Union of Turkey and an Honor Award within the Islamic Culture Honor and Service Awards by the Directorate of Religious Affairs.
